What now, when record keeping FAILS.

Earlier this month I submitted a F.O.I.A request to the Fayetteville, Arkansas Police Department

Seeking as much case information as possible, sadly after 51yrs the case file had been misplaced/lost.
I still have F.O.I.A requests out for the Washington County Sherrif’s Office and the Arkansas State Police, hopefully one of the other two agencies which worked on the case will come through with better record keeping.

I definitely would refuse to accept this answer of not being able to find the files. An FOIA Request is not a document to be dismissed. Poor record keeping is no excuse when it come to serious matters. I would escalate this issue of poor record keeping with a higher authority.

If you know of any attorneys willing to work pro-bono and can work in Arkansas I would love to explore my options.

Why do I care?

It’s because my maternal grandfather’s cousin was Pauline Storment and I have seen everyone who knew her pass on without ever learning the truth.

So, that is why this site is dedicated to exposing the hidden truths that have held her tragic murder in the shadows for all these years.

We may never ger the complete picture of that night but I will go to my grave knowing I did everything to honor her memory and untangle the web of confusion that has engulfed this case for half a century and counting.
